EXCERPT FROM THE STUDY

The issue of school physical facilities truly is paramount to meaningful implementation of educational programmes as well as actualization of students‟ educational objectives. Virtually, nothing can be achieved without adequate provisions of the school facilities required in order to enhance  the attainment of educational objectives.  Private School student who are taught under a well facilitated school performed better than student taught in averagely equipped public school.

More so the social environment has a lot of role to play in the attainment of a student academic goals. the relationship that exist between the child and his/her family, peers, community and teachers within the school shapes his/her behavior towards academic achievement. In addition the school climate, school environment, teacher-student relation are important factors if a student will achieve greater academic performance. the is  because, a nature based learning environment enhances the creativity of a student; The teacher's relationship can either demotivate the child or motivate the child into performing better. Teacher who has been the main force and the last person that ensure implementation of curriculum according to specification, his success or failure of actualizing instructional objectives depend to a large extent on the availability of good facilities such as good classroom building with adequate furniture, instructional facilities, and staffroom with adequate furniture among others.
